Follow Guidelines to Prevent Canine Parvovirus
The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has discussed our concerns with a local veterinarian about Canine Parvovirus in relation to the Wright Street Bark Park (WSBP). We were reminded that dogs whose owners follow the rules of the WSBP, are not as susceptible to Canine Parvovirus.
Muehlhausen Aquatic Center Closing for Season; Splashpad open till Labor Day
The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that the last day of operation for open swimming at the Muehlhausen Aquatic Center is Sunday, August 4th.

Patriot Park Playground Removal Begins July 22nd
The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that removal of the Patriot Park Playground will begin starting the week of July 22nd. The current playground which was originally built in 2002, will be removed, except for the swings.
Parks Department Announces Changes to Summer Programs

Lower Spencer Shelter Stabilization Complete; Further Work is Being Scheduled
The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that work at the lower Spencer Park Shelter has made significant progress. The stabilization work for which Steinberger Construction and Shepler Construction were hired has been completed.
Public Invited to Register for Summer Golf and Swim Lessons in the Parks
The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that registration for Junior Golf Camp and Swimming Lessons will open May 1, 2024. Due to remodeling the LHS tennis courts, Tennis Camp will not be offered this year.
