Iron Horse Park

  • This 3-acre community park has facilities that include a limited scope playground, park restrooms (handicap accessible), a covered and partially indoor picnic shelter and a trail system. Dykeman Park offers a quiet and peaceful walk along the golf course. Walkers are encouraged to park at the west end of the lane by the pavilions. Walking distance from the west parking lot to the front gate and back: 1.5 miles.

    · ADA accessible walkways and drinking fountain

    · Game Court with cornhole, foosball, & ping pong

    · Equipment rental “RENT FUN” kiosks for cornhole and ping pong- a credit card and a smart phone are required to rent equipment for $2 per hour.

    · Green space with plenty of room for gatherings, with lighting & electricity for vendor booths and the Cass County Community Foundation Community Stage

    · Benches & trash cans

    · A ground-level splashpad that doubles as a water fountain (open seasonally)

    The Iron Horse Depot Building:

    · ADA accessible public restrooms, from the south entrance (along Melbourne Ave) lead to a family-style restroom, open daily from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.

    ·Ticket booth and some open space remaining for a welcome area
