The Penman Service Center serves as the office of the Logansport Parks & Recreation Department. The building was built in 1992 and donated by Doctors Jeffrey Penman and Connie Owens in 2007 for recreation purposes.
The office area houses the Parks Administrator, the Recreation Director, the Administrative Assistant, and the Summer Recreation staff.
The Community Room is regularly rented out for private parties. It also provides a great location for some park programs.
Visitors may enter the building using the ADA Accessible ramp, or the ADA Accessible double doors under a vehicle portico.
The Penman Service Center sits directly across Smith Street from Huston Park. The Penman parking lot regularly serves as an overflow for the Huston Park parking lot.

Community Room includes:
Tables & chairs for 40-50 persons
Men’s and women’s ADA accessible restrooms;
Kitchenette w/ serving counter, refrigerator, microwave, and sink
3-bay garage for vehicles and program supply storage
Parking lot holds up to 30 vehicles and is ADA accessible.
