Beginner Swim Lessons
Designed for swimmers who are just becoming comfortable in the water. Participants will learn water safety, front and back floating, proper breathing, kicking, and basic arm movements. Earth Day Fest
Earth Day Fest has quickly become one of our community’s most meaningful traditions, and this year marks nearly five years of celebrating it alongside our partners at the Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District. This free event brings neighbors, families, and local organizations together to celebrate the beauty of our natural spaces while learning simple ways we can all care for the environment. Hosting the event at Riverside Park makes it even more special, allowing the community to gather in one of Logansport’s most beloved green spaces while enjoying a day centered around nature, connection, and learning.
This year’s Earth Day Fest will feature more than 15+ community partners who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and resources with the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore booths filled with demonstrations, educational materials, giveaways, and hands-on activities led by experts in conservation, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. It’s a chance for families to ask questions, discover local programs, and connect with organizations that are working every day to protect and improve the natural spaces we all share.
Of course, Earth Day Fest is also about celebrating and having fun together. From 10 AM to 2 PM, families can enjoy free carousel rides, free tree giveaways (while supplies last), snacks, face painting, bouncy houses, games, and activities for all ages. Events like this help strengthen community bonds while reminding us that caring for the Earth can be joyful, accessible, and something we do together. We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a day of learning, laughter, and appreciation for the parks and natural beauty that make our community so special.
